Major medical insurance is a specific type of health insurance plan that will help cover your medical expenses. It often covers preventive care services, urgent care visits, emergency room visits, prescription medications, and other routine medical expenses. 

 Dental insurance makes it easy to go to the dentist by minimizing out-of-pocket costs for routine dental check-ups, expensive procedures and most things in between. Vision insurance helps cover fees for annual preventive care check-ups, glasses and contacts. 

 Accident insurance is a type of insurance where the policy holder is paid directly in the event of an accident resulting in injury of the insured. The insured can spend the benefit payment however they choose. Accident insurance is complementary to, not a replacement for, health insurance. 

 Short-term health insurance is a type of health plan that can provide you with temporary medical coverage when you are between health plans, outside enrollment periods, and need some coverage in case of an emergency.
